Inspired by real-life "kariton" : For many homeless Filipinos, their Kariton is the only space they can occupy and own. Often made from scraps of wood, the human-powered carts are either used as shelter, storage and source of income, such as collecting trash to resell to recyclers.
Because many homeless Filipinos go to sleep hungry and wake up hungrier. Each purchase of this Kariton tray will donate nutritious meals to Project Pearls' Homeless Hunger Relief effort, serving 300 packed meals & hot coffee in the heart of Manila.
